On Wednesday, Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab announced its Uptown relocation to, um, Uptown. The restaurant revealed today that it will move to One Uptown at 2619 McKinney Ave. Serving the neighborhood since July 1998, Truluck’s will continue its tradition of high-quality seafood, hospitality and live music into a new space just down the street.
“Our guests have made Truluck’s part of their lives for nearly three decades, and we’re excited to continue that tradition at One Uptown,” Chris Davis, Operating Partner of Truluck’s Dallas said in today’s press release. “The new space gives us a beautiful setting for the dining, live music, and vibrant bar experience our guests love. Before we make the move, we invite everyone to join us at 2401 McKinney Ave. throughout the holiday season to celebrate the memories we’ve shared here and look ahead to making new ones at our new address.”
Truluck’s is currently located at 2401 McKinney Ave.
The new location will expand on Truluck’s atmosphere of both modern elegance and warm vibes. An expansive central bar will feature happy hours with a nearby grand piano for live music. Curved booths, greenery and sculptural lighting will create intimate spaces in the dining room.
Executive Chef Manny Vera, who has been part of the Truluck’s team since 1998, will continue the restaurant’s menu of longtime favorites like its signature seasonal Florida stone crab, hand-cut steaks and fresh seafood selections such as Miso-Glazed Sea Bass and South African Lobster Tails.
The new location at One Uptown is expected to open in early 2027.
