Dallas’ Human Rights Campaign Federal Club members are holding their annual Fall Luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Fairmont Dallas, with Texas state Rep. Gina Hinojosa, the Democratic nominee for governor Texas, as guest speaker.
HRC Foundation has endorsed Hinojosa in her race to unseat incumbent Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, and in a press release announcing the luncheon, described the candidate as “a tireless advocate at the Capitol and a steady voice for equality when it has been anything but easy to be one.”
The luncheon begins with a welcome reception at 10:30 a.m., and the program starts at 11 a.m. Space is limited, and the event is expected to fill up quickly, so Federal Club officials urge everyone interested in attending to RSVP at Eventbrite by the end of today (Tuesday, Sept. 15). Tickets start at $12.51.
