Time to get your thrift game on for some new summer looks and fab home decor and more. Thrift for Good announced that 25 percent of purchases this month at its three locations in Hurst, Denton and Cleburne will benefit a number of area LGBTQ+ charities. Among the North Texas organization recipients are Resource Center, LGBTQ Saves, Trans Pride Initiative, The Trevor Project and North Texas Pride Foundation. Every price tag at each location also notes which nonprofit that item supports so shoppers can shop with purpose and support Pride month with their purchase.
To date, Thrift for Good is proud to have donated over $360,000 to local charities.
Additionally, the store is also accepting donations of gently used clothing and home goods to benefit an LGBTQ+ charity this month. Donation Hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday at both the Hurst and Denton stores.
