Global pop group XG announced the North American leg of its second world tour, XG World Tour: The Core. With just seven-shows, the includes Dallas among its limited dates. The group will perform at American Airlines Center on Nov. 17.
The tour supports XG’s first full-length album, The Core – 核, which debuted on the Billboard 200. The single “Gala” became XG’s third Top 40 U.S. radio hit.
The group’s name originally stood for Extraordinary Girls but shifted into a more inclusive name as member Cocona came out last December as transmasc/nonbinary. Now XG represents Extraordinary Genes. Cocona posted about their coming out on XG’s Instagram.

In the post, they wrote:
Today, I turned 20.
As I reach this new chapter in my life, I want to share something that’s been in my heart for a long time.I am AFAB transmasculine non-binary.
Earlier this year, I had top surgery.
I was born and perceived as female, but that label never represented who I truly am. I live in a way that feels more masculine and true to who I am.The hardest thing I’ve ever faced was accepting and embracing myself.
But as I slowly began to do that, I was able to open a new door.
That moment changed the way I see and understand the world,
and it gave me the courage and strength to grow.
Now, I can finally say, “There’s nothing wrong with who I am inside.”
And we love a strong pop star.
This marks XG’s first U.S. tour since making history as the only Japanese artist to perform at Coachella in April 2025.
