Grammy-nominated artist, activist, and songwriter Aaron Lee Tasjan announced his forthcoming album Get Over It, Underdog (Blue Élan Records), on Wednedsay.. The album ies expected for release on July 17. Ahead of the release, Tasjan dropped the single “Lost and Alone.”
In the new single “Lost & Alone,” the singer — or his persona in the song — yearns for stability while wrestling with anxiety and intrusive thoughts, caught between isolation and a longing for connection.
Produced by Tasjan alongside longtime collaborator Mark Miller, Get Over It, Underdog is considered both a personal reckoning and a broader reflection on the stories we tell about ourselves and others and expands Tasjan’s voice in contemporary Americana music while bringing queer representation to the genre.
The singer will follow the album release with a tour that stops in Fort Worth on Sept. 26 at Printed Threads: Showroom Sounds.
