Uptown Players announces Broadway Our Way details
Earlier this week, Uptown Players dropped the deets on its upcoming furndraiser revue. The Players’ signature annual fundraiser returns with a new chapter as Broadway Our Way 2026: Fractured Fairy Tales takes the stage for four performances from April 30 – May 3 at the Kalita Humphreys Theater.
The creative team behind the show includes director and book by B.J. Cleveland, music arranged and directed by Adam C. Wright with choreography by Alli Betsill.
From Uptown Players:
Once upon a time… things didn’t go quite as planned. This year’s Broadway Our Way revisits your favorite storybook characters—with delightfully twisted, grown-up surprises. Expect “gay ole” twists, unexpected romances, and a few clandestine hook-ups along the way.
Where else can a Prince be swept off his feet by a handsome stranger, a Princess be rescued by a bold fair maiden, and an Evil Queen stir up mischief—all set to some of Broadway’s most iconic songs?
Nowhere else but Uptown Players.
Blending fractured folklore with show-stopping musical numbers, this year’s revue features selections from The Addams Family, 9 to 5, Hair, Beetlejuice, The Wedding Singer, Big Fish and more.
With its signature mix of camp, comedy, and heart, Broadway Our Way: Fractured Fairy Tales promises an evening where fairy tales are reimagined, rules are rewritten and everyone gets a chance at their own kind of happily ever after.
The cast announcement includes Cleveland, Seth Paden, Micah Green, Elizabeth Kensek, Quintin Jones, Jr., David Lugo, Brett Warner, Peter DiCesare, Erin Bowman, Tim Brawner, Sophie DeYoung, Stephanie Felton, Linda Leonard, Laura Lites, Gena Loe, Geoff Lutz, Kylie Stewart, Carlos Strudwick, Arya J Valley, Ally Van Deuren, L. Walter and Clayton Younkin.
Of course, what’s a fundraiser without the fundraising?
This year, the raffle gallery will feature more than 50 prizes, including local dining
experiences, luxury memorabilia, artwork, jewelry and getaways. The grand prize allows
you to experience Broadway Your Way with a custom NYC escape: four nights in the city, flights included, plus a $2,000 gift card to see the Broadway shows of your choice. Thorughout the run, Uptown Players will also have its silent auction and gift card grab for additional opportunities to both donate and take home a shiny new gift.
