Congresswoman Julie Johnson and Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson will lead the “LGBTQ+ Day of Action and Rainbow March to the Polls” on Saturday, Feb. 21, starting at noon in the parking lot of the Warwick Melrose Hotel, 3015 Oak Lawn Ave.
“Early voting is underway, and our community has an opportunity to show up powerfully and visibly for equality,” according to an HRC press release. “This is a moment to come together as a community, celebrate our power and take direct action to ensure LGBTQ+ voices are heard at the ballot box.
“We’ll rally, build energy and then march together to vote during early voting.”
