Meet Bing, a 1-year-and-2-month-old, 47-pound sweetheart with a soft black, tan, and white coat, the cutest floppy ears and the kind of soulful eyes that stop you in your tracks. You can tell this is a dog who loves deeply, and right now, he’s longing for a forever home. Bing isn’t loud or demanding; he quietly scoots closer just to be near you, leaning in for affection. He’s gentle and easygoing with comforting presence that makes you feel calm. Bing does wonderfully with kids and truly enjoys being around people. And that’s what makes it so hard for Bing in a shelter environment: He’s not built for loneliness. He’s built for love. Come meet Bing today at the Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, open daily from noon-6 p.m. He has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.
Love Unleashed is Friday, Feb. 13, from 6-8 p.m. All adoptions will be free at the Dallas Animal Care Center, and there will be fun and sweet treats, the Kissing & Hissing Booth, temporary tattoos craft projects and more. And all Valentines weekend long, all adoptions are only $14.
