Meet Buck. He is a gentle soul with hopeful eyes and a spirit that refuses to give up on love. At just 2 years old and weighing 50 pounds, this handsome mixed-breed boy has already learned so much about patience, resilience and waiting for the right person to come along. He’s moved beyond the whirlwind puppy stage and settled into a steady rhythm. He enjoys walks where he can take in the world one step at a time, and after, he is perfectly content to relaxs. He doesn’t ask for much — just structure, consistency and affection. In return, he offers loyalty, trust and a heart full of love. Buck wants to be someone’s dependable companion, the one who’s always there at the end of the day, quietly grateful to be part of a family.
While Buck is looking for his loving home, he’s awaiting spay/neuter surgery. Although he isn’t quite ready for full adoption yet, he is available for foster-to-adopt, which means you can open your home and your heart to him now, help him settle in and then, once his surgery is complete, make it official. And, fostering with the SPCA of Texas is FREE; we provide everything you need including food, toys, leash, collar, bowls, etc. Meet Buck today at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, which open every day of the week from noon-6 p.m. Buck is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
In other news, we are happy to announce that Oreo, the Dallas Voice Pet of the Week for Jan. 23 has found his forever home and has been adopted!
