Break out your best and most stylish shades and get ready because “The Future Is So Bright” for DFW’s LGBTQ+ community, and Dallas Voice’s 2026 Readers Voice Awards are here to celebrate the best and brightest among us.
This year we’re showing up louder, prouder and brighter than ever as we celebrate the people, places and businesses that make our LGBTQ+ community the beacon of Pride and support that it is. From the icons who’ve kept our city fabulous for decades to the new voices making waves across DFW, this is our chance to vote for the best and brightest in our community!
So as we kick off a whole new year, we’re asking everyone to come ready to sparkle, and to show up for the people in our community who show up for all of us every day!
Need a little extra incentive to vote? Well, how does $500 in cash and a $100 gift card to Cremona’s Bistro sound as an incentive? And if that’s not enough, add in two tickets to the 2026 Uptown Players performance of your choice AND the ever-popular Dallas Voice BIG GAY FAN!
Sound good? Then just head on over to the 2026 RVA Ballots and cast your votes for the best and brightest in our rainbow community. Be sure to fill out the entry form with each category you vote in, and all completed entries will go into a pot from which, at the end of the voting period, one grand prize winner will be drawn!
Categories are Drag, Show, Metro, On The Town, Shops, Health, Pets and Services. Voting continues through Saturday, Jan. 31. Then the ballots will be tallied, a grand prize winner chosen and the RVA honorees announced in the 2026 Readers Voice Awards issue on March 27.
