Live D&D takes over Theatre Three on Saturday

Y’all, I don’t know the first thing about Dungeons and Dragons so here’s the direct word from Theatre Three’s star-studded fundraiser happening soon:

From studio booths to saving the realm, this live campaign at Theatre Three will be epic! Embark on a one-day-only adventure as your favorite voice actors embark on a live D&D campaign, guided by master storyteller Shawn Gann as DM.

Watch the campaign unfold from beginning to end as the players navigate the perils and pitfalls along the way as they complete their quest using their strength, smarts, and if need be, casting a spell or two! Be a part of every tough decision, every victorious conquest, and every disappointing dice roll along the way!

This six-hour event will feature snacks, drinks, and more in our lobby, as well as several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Come and go as you please, or stay with us for the entire adventure, the choice is yours!

Players include notable voiceover actors including Gann (My Hero Academia, Borderlands 3) with Alejandro Saab (We Baby Bears, Marvel’s What If…?), Hayden Daviau (Honkai Star Rail, Pokemon Ultimate Journeys), Caitlin Glass (Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club), Parker Davis Gray (Convenience Store Boy Friends, Fairy Gone, Free! -Dive to the Future) and Lydia Mackay (My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan).

Theatre Arlington launches its new season with a special engagement of AMON! The Ultimate Texan

Written by Dallas Morning News columnist Dave Lieber and starring Kelvin Dilks as the larger-than-life Amon Carter, this true-to-life production celebrates the spirit of the man often called “Mr. Fort Worth.” Through Lieber’s script and Carter’s own tall tales, meet the Texas original who refused to think small — about his city, his state or himself.

“Amon Carter was bold, funny, and relentless — and he built an empire by believing in Texas,” Lieber said in TA’s press release. “We created this play to show how one man’s vision and humor helped define an entire region. It’s part history, part inspiration, and a whole lot of Texas pride.”

Directed by Connie Sanchez, AMON! The Ultimate Texan has played to audiences across North Texas.

Theatre Arlington presents the show as a season extra for its 2026 season. The show runs one weekend only Jan. 9-11.
