In this week’s issue coming out Friday, Nov. 7, you can read my interview with Andy Bell ahead of his concert on Nov. 15 at the Majestic Theatre. But then, further research into this month’s other concerts revealed a large number of queer artists heading to DFW to perform. Mostly indie artists, but this month is like a whole Pride month filled with LGBTQ+ headliners.

This diverse roster covers multiple genres to satisfy all tastes or perhaps introduce you to some. But plan your concert calendar fast. The first of these starts on Tuesday — after you vote of course.

Nov. 4: Big Thief at The Bomb Factory. Singer Adrienne Lenker identifies as queer and her songs often explore both gender binary and sexual fluidity.

Nov. 4: Geese at Tulips FTW. Nonbinary member, Emily Green plays guitar for the indie rock band which has been an outwardly trans-supportive group.

Nov. 6: Jessica Kirson at Majestic Theatre. This lesbian comic often incluses her queer experiences in her stand-up.

Nov. 7: Molly Grace at Club Dada. ” I am both a fem queer person and like a femme lesbian,” she told WTBU earlier this year.

Nov. 7: Ruthie Foster at The Kessler Theater. The lesbian Texas native earned the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album for her album Mileage.

Nov. 15: Andy Bell at the Majestic Theatre. Erasure singer. Gay. Icon. ‘Nuff said.

Nov. 15: Blondshell at The Studio at The Factory. Sabrina Teitelbaum (AKA Blondshell) has identified as bisexual with songs touching on both queerness and relationships.

Nov. 15: Madilyn Mei at Cambridge Room. The queer artist explores gender dysmorphia in their latest album A Thousand Songs About It All: Act I, released in September.

Nov. 16: Palmyra at Club Dada. The queer Virginia band hails from rural Appalachian Virginia and they released their debut album Restless earlier this year.

Nov. 17: Sanguisugabogg at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall. Guitarist Cameron Boggs, who founded the death metal band, identifies as queer non-binary.

Nov. 18: Baby Bugs at TX Tea Room. Bowie Rabas takes their alternative and punk sounds and mixes them through their own nonbinary lens.

Nov. 23: Neko Case, John Grant at Longhorn Ballroom. Grant has long been open in his music that often explores themes of his sexuality, growing up gay in a religious family, love and lust, struggles with addiction and HIV.

Nov. 30: KATSEYE at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. Members Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel are both queer identifying. Raj identifies as queer and Skiendiel is bisexual. They both bring a pioneering queer representation to the K-pop scene.
