If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and downright delightful companion, meet Ziggy! At 2 years old and 63 pounds, this mixed-breed sweetheart is the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy affection — the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter just by being there. Ziggy’s foster family says he’s crate-trained, housebroken and always eager to please. He’s happiest when he’s close to his people, but when it’s playtime, Ziggy’s all in — tug-of-war, fetch or tackling a tough chew toy are his favorites. Ziggy gets along wonderfully with the cat in his foster home and would fit beautifully into a family with other gentle pets. Right now, Ziggy is working through a little physical therapy for his back legs and spine, but don’t worry, his spirit is as strong as ever!
Since Ziggy is in foster care, an appointment is needed to meet him. Simply Email Foster@spca.org to make that appointment. Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Ziggy has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all his necessary vaccinations.
