While Meow Wolf in general provides a universe-expanding experience for the whole family, every Thursday Meow Wolf Grapevine’s “Real Unreal” offers a special experience just for the grown-ups — the 21-and-older-only Adulti-Verse, a “unique dimension packed with a cash bar, live DJs and special performances.”
And on Thursday, Sept. 11, that unique dimension gets even more unique as Meow Wolf Grapevine presents Wylde Kingdom, a special Adulti-Verse event featuring DFW’s very own drag king extraordinaire Buck Wylde and the cast of the new competition series, King of Drag.
This one-night-only takeover turns the Neon Kingdom stage inside The Real Unreal into a swagger-charged arena for world-class drag king performances, with Buck Wylde, Henlo Bullfrog and Alexander the Great leading the lineup.
According a press release announcing the special event, “Adulti-Verse is built for grownups who want to play, explore and connect inside an art wonderland afterhours. For this edition, the focus is the show: high-impact choreography, live mixes, sharp comedy, and character-driven acts that bring the kings’ competition legends to life for North Texas.”
Those who head over to Meow Wolf for Wylde Kingdom will “experience the full exhibition,” the press release continues, “along with a stacked stage program, curated photo moments and themed drinks available for purchase.”
Buck Wylde, the winner of the first Dallas Voice Readers Voice Award for “Best Drag King” in 2024, “brings suave, precision stagecraft and DFW pride” to the stage.
Henlo Bullfrog delivers “SFX wizardry, airbrush artistry and a reputation for delightfully unhinged performance concepts,” with credits including work on Skin Wars and creative work that has appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Rounding out the royal court is Alexander the Great, offering a “commanding theatrical presence, clean hits and a knack for punchline-timed reveals.”

Tickets for Adulti-Verse: Wylde Kingdom on Thursday, Sept. 11, are on sale now at the Meow Wolf Grapevine ticket portal. All guests must be 21 or older with a physical, valid ID checked at entry.
