Sammons is a charming 13-year-old Chihuahua/terrier with his sleek black coat and an infectious smile — the kind of dog who brightens every room he walks into. Weighing just 19 pounds, he is small in size but with a heart is as big as they come. What makes Sammons truly special is his delightful personality; he adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Despite his senior status, Sammons has plenty of love and life left to give, and he’s looking for a warm, cozy home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by affection and companionship.

Sammons is waiting to meet you at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center, so come by any day between noon and 6 p.m. to meet him. Like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, he has been neutered and microchipped and has had all his age-appropriate vaccines. Animals are available for adoption at both the SPCA Dallas Animal Care Center, 2å400 Lone Star Drive, and the Ellis County Animal Care Center, 2570 FM 878 in Waxahachie.
