Just six months after the 2023 Emmy Awards were announced — delayed because of the actors and writers strikes — a new round of nominations were released today.

Among the gay and lesbian nominees are Alan Cumming for The Traitors and RuPaul for Drag Race. They are competing against each other in the host of a reality or competition program category. Matt Bomer is nominated for Fellow Travelers and Jodie Foster for True Detective: Night Country. Holland Taylor is nominated for supporting actress in a drama series for The Morning Show. Bowen Yang is competing for supporting actor in a comedy series for his work on Saturday Night Live.

A local nominee is Mark Cuban for Shark Tank.
