Yesterday I posted an item about a man who was found dead inside his burned apartment in Oak Lawn. Fox 4 has an update on the two man, ages 18 and 19, who are charged with capital murder in the man’s death:
Two teens killed a man who was found dead in a burning apartment on Tuesday, police said.According to investigators, the suspects murdered 33-year-old Sheldon McKnight, whose body was found at the Oaklawn Heights Apartments in the 2600 block of Arroyo Avenue.
Police on Tuesday night arrested Ricardo Beltran, 18, and Victor Ramos, 19. Both are charged with capital murder and were each being held on a $1 million bond.
Investigators said both teens were caught driving McKnights car at the time of the fire.
Happy to hear that. I’m sure they will make for delightful chicken for prison inmates.
Anyone know the man who was murdered? Was he gay?
Chuck, those chickens will be fried in addition to being spit roasted. I believe killing someone during a robbery is Murder 1.

I know Ricardo Beltran. He was my childhood friend. He was a good boy he use to hang out with my little brother and come to our house. He wouldn’t do such a thing.
I knew Ricardo Beltran, He was a childhood sweetheart.
He use to hangout with my little brother beforee he past away back in 2007,
He wouldn’t even hurt a fly. I know he couldn’t do such a thing on his own.
I know this is just a misunderstanding!
