Gay porn actors Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes are facing murder charges for allegedly killing porn executive Bryan Kocis in a dispute over a coveted actor, according to reports posted online this week by Court TV.

Kocis was murdered in his Dallas, Pa., home on Jan. 24. His throat had been slashed, and after he was dead, he was stabbed 28 times and his body was set on fire to try and hide the crime, according to court documents.

Court TV reported that Kocis’ body was discovered by firefighters, and that the smoke detectors in the home had been disabled. There were no signs of forced entry, and police told Court TV they believe the two suspects tricked the victim into letting them in by telling him Cuadra was a new model interested in making a video for Cobra Video.

Cuadra and Kerekes were arrested in May and were extradited Tuesday, July 17, to Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Court TV reports said. Police arrested the men based on evidence found on a computer that survived the fire.

Investigators believe Cuadra and Kerekes killed Kocis because they wanted to work with Kocis’ lead actor, Sean Lockhart, 20, known in the adult entertainment industry as Brent Corrigan. Pending litigation and contractual obligations between LSG Media, Lockhart and Cobra Videos, however, stood in the way of their plans.

Kerekes and Cuadra were charged in Luzerene County, Pa., with criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, robbery, burglary, theft and two counts of arson.

Both men maintain their innocence.
